1. Don’t Forget Your Sphere of Influence. This group is your number one source for business, especially in today’s market, where most sellers need to move due to significant life changes such as marriage, divorce, or other events. Ensuring you’re visible and active within your network means that when they or their friends and family need to list a property, they’ll think of you first.

2. Develop a Marketing Strategy. Consider targeting specific neighborhoods or demographic groups likely to need your services. Use various marketing tools like postcards, social media, and Google Pay Per Click campaigns to reach your target market effectively. A well-thought-out marketing strategy can significantly boost your visibility and attract potential clients.

3. Contact For Sale By Owners (FSBOs). These individuals have already expressed a desire to sell but may need the right agent to help them. Be prepared to overcome objections and offer solutions to why their property didn’t sell previously. Showing them how you can make a difference will help you secure these listings.

4. Go Above and Beyond for Clients. Once you secure a listing appointment, exceed expectations to stand out from the competition. Providing exceptional service helps you secure the current listing and increases the likelihood of referrals. Happy clients are more likely to refer you to their friends and family, generating more business for you.
